FDA Label Compliance - Vitarich Can Help!

At Vitarich, we work to make sure that every step in the manufacturing process meets or exceeds FDA requirements, including label compliance. Dietary supplement labels must adhere to strict regulatory guidelines.FDA Label Compliance

Consulting on label compliance is just another way Vitarich helps our customers. We will review your label, to make sure it meets all federal requirements.

A properly constructed label must have the following parts to meet compliance:

  • Name of the product
  • Net quantity
  • FDA Disclaimer ("This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.")
  • Supplement facts panel (like a nutritional facts panel)
  • Serving size, active ingredients, and other ingredients whose daily values have not been established
  • Lot/batch number
  • Known allergens (wheat, milk, soy, shellfish, etc)
  • And more.

A label may also have an expiration date. At Vitarich, we have a team dedicated to making sure every product meets the required FDA labeling requirements. We make sure your products we manufacture are compliant from analysis of raw materials to labels; nothing is left out, so we can make the best for you.
